Happy New Year everyone from P6! We wish you all an excellent and nice 2019.
We are excited about starting our new topic Scotland and Brexit. We are hoping to find out what Brexit actually is. When we work it out we'll let you know!
For Burns Day P6 are going to learn Address To A Haggis.We like the poem but it's a bit difficult to say because it's in old Scots.Up until now we have learned modern Scottish poetry but in primary 6 we have to learn a poem written by Robert Burns.
In Numeracy we are investigating angles and soon we will be moving on to fractions and time.We will also be working on our Number Talk where we will be improving our mental strategies.
For our STEM topic we will be discovering about the Solar System.You never know, we might even build our own rocket and go on a day trip into space!!!
In Literacy this term we will be starting a new reading scheme called Project X.We are quite interested in finding out what it's all about!
